Just cannot get loft operation to work

Hi Fusion 360 Gurus,

I am so close to finishing this ring and getting it off my plate, but this one Loft operation is holding me back from doing so.

I am trying to loft from a face to a sketch at 90 degrees with a guide curve that is a spline. For some reason if the guide curve is a single arc, it works, but it has to be a spline. The previous loft operation did work with a guide curve as a spline. I am using extruded faces to complete the loft because they provide faces for tangency for the loft operations for a smoother continuous look. This loft operation in particular I am trying to get tangency with the previously lofted body.

I am sure I am just making a stupid mistake and missing something obvious as this operation should usually have no issue. Can someone take a second look at it? File is uploaded here. And here's a screenshot of the failed operation and timeline:

See attached model to see if it is what you need.  If it is, then you were just missing a profile sketch line.

You will get better surface quality if you add a spline with G2 connection instead of an arc with a G1 (tangent() connection. It might not matter for this model.

Wow interesting! So you used a different part of profile faces to complete the loft. Funny thing I replicated the same thing on my original file and still couldn't get it to work for some reason. I may have to dig deeper later, but thank you very much for using the magic touch to make it work!
