Joint problem

Hi Guys,

Apologies if this has already been answered but I am having a major headache with a design I am messing about on. I am new to fusion 360 & I am learning by myself & some previous knowledge from Inventor.

I am modelling a hand wheel operated piston pump & I am having trouble getting the joints working correctly on the piston (using slider) & on the approximation of the scotch yoke mechanism (using pin-slot).

If anyone could have a look at the attached file & point me in the right direction it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Ryan

Delete the contact set(s)  and you'll be OK.

Provide proper joint limits where applicable, for example  the slider joint for the piston.

At best you may use contact sets between components to figure out what the proper joint limits are, but once determined, edit the joint and set the limits and then delete the contact set.

I am still struggling with this. I thought I had it fixed but then it went a bit haywire on me.

If someone could fix it so it worked & then I can have a look at how it should be done; it would be very much appreciated.

Hopefully,

Ryan
