Issues modifying drawing revision reference, once revision history table is placed?

Could you have a look at the following, please? 

I noticed, that when working on a multipage drawing, the drawing revision references ("0", "A", "B") can't be modified anymore once the revision history table is placed?

Let's say, the revision history table is added to a drawing & set to revision "A"?

The revision markers in the title blocks then all remain at "0" & cannot be manually corrected, until you issue a title block properties reset - after which the revision indicator character follows the last entry made in the revision history table, but the reset also removes the earlier entered information that was in the title block.

Surely, that's not the intended behaviour?  That the revision character should follow the last entry in the revision history table, is fine - I think, that's the correct behaviour, so far.

But if I can't manually correct the title block entries to match that, then they'd need to update themselves to match...  Now, I need to reset the properties, in order to update the revision character - and then add the erased information back into the title block.

I can't share the drawings in which I noticed this, but this issue has shown to be repeatable. Let me know, if I need to construct a sample for you.

I have tried to replicate your issue and cannot, the title block updates according to the Revision Table entry automatically.  Take a look at the Screencast.  There could be an issue with your Title Block Revision attribute, it may not be assigned incorrectly. 

Please create a Screencast of your own showing your issue and also check your Title Block attribute.

The revision history and revision attribute in title block always remain in synch. When you add/remove revision, the revision attribute in title block gets updated accordingly. And once we place the revision history/table in the drawing, we do not allow modification of revision attribute manually in the title block.

However I suspect following might have happened in your case:

Updated the revision attributes manually before placing revision history/table (Lets say, it changed to "0" manually)

Then added the revision history and added revision A>>Now the revision attribute in title block is not updating to A.

This is defect, we will look into this.

But there is very simple workaround to this problem:

As you said, reset properties option will reset all the properties, so do not reset properties.

Instead, just select and right click on Title block>> select 'Edit title block' option>>Do not make any change and just click on Finish Title block.>>This will make the revision attribute in synch with revision table and no other properties in the title block will be reset.

Your assumption is correct, that's indeed the method I applied here.

I also tried your work-around but unfortunately it doesn't appear to work for me, unless I've missed a step (?):

- I took an existing single page drawing (is on revision "0").

- Added the revision history table & added revision A  ==> the revision in the title block remains on "0", at this point.

- Right-click on the title block, select "Edit title block"

- Do not make any changes, but instead click "Finish...".

- In the title block, revision "0" still remains & is NOT updated to revision "A", alas....

I've attached the sample I made in above steps - maybe it helps to pin the issue.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue, I've just used revision tables for the first time. Historically I've always manually added Rev letters so did the same in this instance but with 9 sheets I don't want to have to re-write all the info in the title block after re-setting the title block. every time I make a revision. any other work arounds?

Ok, posted this after having spent half an hour trying to fix it but after posting I found my own work around. I went into edit the title block and deleted the existing REV attribute and added a new REV attribute in its place and it's now auto-updating! for anyone having the same issue this is the best fix I can think of until this bug is corrected.
