Issue with the Loft command combined with parameters.

Hey, I'm new using Fusion and I have been struggling with an issue:

So I have a desk that is an Octogone, the feet of the said desk is a loft between two sketches.

I have no issue drawing them, the problem is whenever I change a parameter they do not follow the design the back of the foot is no longer perpendicular to the back of the desk board.

I am providing both the Fusion file and the parameters in Csv format.

The Value that breaks the feet is DeskWidth.

Thanks you for the time you spent reading this issue.

Hi ,
just use "fix" tool for these both lines (see pic 2 ) in both sketches
your file below

The issue you have is unconstrained sketches (blue line, no red lock on its name in the browser) and bad workflow (align almost always must not be used for modeling). Also you have made your life harder by not sketching properly. I mean just look at my sketches (left) vs. yours (right):

I revised your design and used much simpler sketches:

Some other points: With properly choosing your main sketch's origin you can use Z axis for pattern.  Also you can use one single pattern for everything.

@hamid.sh. has already pointed out most of what I also see.

I'd like to add that before you start a design, you should sit down with your idea and evaluate what symmetries and patterns are going to be in your model and only then start modeling.

While designing, you may also discover other opportunities to streamline a workflow.

Don't hesitate to start from scratch.

For example, the origin of you 1st sketch should be in the center of rotation you are using for the patterning.

Thanks for your review,
this is my first parametric design. I've been struggling on sketching mostly at the time.
I moved the axis of designs because I had issues with moving sketches (top foot over bottom foot) due to constraints.
This is probably at that time I broke the sketches.

I may not look like it but I already started from scratch quite some time haha.

Anyway thanks for your message and your stream of thoughts.
