Issue with some flat patterns cant export to DXF

Hi,

I have some files which were designed in Solidworks, then sent as a .step to me and I have converted them to sheet metal in fusion. But a few of the more complex pieces are giving me an error (super unhelpful error message - Error: There was an unexpected problem with exporting the flat pattern as a DXF file. - would be great if we could find out a little bit more why it wouldn't export.)

Here is the 2 parts that I'm having issues with. https://a360.co/3HZAJl8

any help on what to look out for would be great.

Thanks
Ned

Problematic...Is this close? I did this via unfold. Do you need bend lines etc? EDIT: I think my go is glitched and will need a relook. Edit I have replaced my quick fix .dxf..its better but not 100%

Hey thanks for taking a look.

Yes, I need the bend lines for folding programming.

On the simpler one, I got 1 Bend and a pair of extent lines and I assume just a bend line on the lesser?Screenshot 2024-02-13 173903.png

It seems to works fine if you create a 2d drawing then export the drawing as a DXF. See attached.

Yes that does work, but I get all of the other aspects of the drawing. the border etc. Is there a process to turn this all off and just get the flat pattern?

Ok I think I worked it out.

It appears to have worked fine and created a useable DXF.
