Hey marks3U6W9,

At the moment this isn't an option, but the Product Manager who handles UI is looking into it as an option. Sometimes requests like this are easy wins (don't take much effort for the developers), but sometimes they require a lot of resources to implement. I can't make any promises, but keep an eye on the Blog to see whether it's implemented in the near future.

I would love to see this feature.  In a complex assembly where you are frequently going back to make edits and updates isolating and un-isolating components is a routine task.  A short-cut key allowing me to "flip" the isolation of a selected component on and off could speed up my workflow 🙂

Hi man!

There really is no solution to this at the moment. I think the easiest way is to access the Toolbox and type the command.
Take a look at this link (https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/ENU/Fusion-GetStarted/files/GU...) here are all shortcuts to Fusion 360.

Looks like this isn't implemented yet? I would specifically like a keyboard shortcut that isolates the currently selected component. While editing I frequently switch between different components and often I want to immediately isolate it, or switch back and forth between isolated and non-isolated to see how it fits in relation to the other parts. I don't think I've ever have a need to isolate a non-active component.

To summarize: Probably the top missing keyboard shortcut I'd want is "(un)isolate active component".

At least there is Unisolate in the right click menu, which is good.

If there also was an "Isolated Selected", it would be even better. And the ultimate solution would be the keyboard shortcut that we all are looking for. 😉

Isolate is on the Right Click Context menu also.  Highlight your component(s) first, right click on one of them.

Isn't that the only way? My problem is that once I click on something else, even on the white background, then Isolate is not available anymore. Why can't Isolate always be available and applied to the currently selected component?
