Is there anyway i can import a jpeg into fusion 360 or convert the jpeg picture into the right file. Why can we upload Jpeg

I'm not in front of Fusion right now, but you should be able to insert a jpeg as a canvas (insert -> canvas), then pick a plane to put it on.

Once the Jpeg has been put on the planar surface of a part, is there anyway to extrude that canvas?

Trace over the image with a Sketch.

You can then Extrude the Sketch.

There is no video it's under the insert menu in the model workspaces
