I am looking for that for a long time , but I can't seem to figure it out.

I often work on big assemblies and I want to know where certain linked components are stored. Only "painful" work around so far is to use the search function , which btw has its own quirks.

Am I missing it or is it not implemented?

PS: why not show it in Properties for example

It is not implemented!

Not for linked components or derived objects (components, sketches, bodies, or parameters).

I've bemoaned for a good while now that users are allowed o cerate all sorts of dependencies and complexities, but FUiosn 360 provides no tools to manage that complexity.

An ever so tender attempt has perhaps been made in this Component View tech demo but it is in the very early stages and with the current development speed and direction I don't see much happing in the next year or two.

its especially a pain when working in a TEAM folder and one can't find the place the file is stored.
sometimes opening the file and trying save as would show the folder, though not always consistent and I am hesitant to recommend that because that can lead to screw ups.

Thanks for always helping out in the forum and really know how to explain things well with a neutral stance @TrippyLighting . very much appreciated !

Interesting video that deals exclusively with locally cached files.

How does that address the original question ?
