How to edit a component without changing another component that is previously copy-pasted from it?

I made a component (with basic sketches and extrudes), and then copy-pasted the component to make a new one. So when I am trying to edit the sketches for the previous component, both component features/faces are getting edited. How do I make the copy-pasted component independent of the edits done to the main component?

At the time of Pasting, you need to Paste New, for independent versions.
