Is there any use of Fusion360 for Structural Design

Hi,

I think everyone knows the capabilities of Fusion360 and how easy it is to use. Therefore i was thinking how i could use it for structural engineering and the best use i can think for it right now is for the design of a wooden roof structure.

Most structural engineering softwares are not capable of easily drawing complex shapes for roof structures however Fusion360 would be perfect for such a task, but i am not sure on its capabilities for the analysis and design.

Are there any structural engineers that use Fusion360 in there workflows?

I don't dabble in structural engineering myself, but from what i've seen you should be able to use fusion to easily design what you need with high precision. When it comes to testing i know fusion has a good built in testing system but you could always swap to other programs if need be but i'm not sure.
