I am quite interested in the content library feature for Fusion 360 Ultimate. Is there any information on the sort of content and functionality this feature will contain?

Thanks a lot!

Yes. To begin it will be a set of read only content.
You can insert/copy this content into any of your designs.

We will be providing basic, Imperial and metric parts in bolts, nuts, washers and other fasteners.

We are trying to add work holding and fixturing.

Sounds like a good plan.

I am looking to add a simple vise to my drawings to go along with the setup sheets. A picture of the part in the vise or fixture will certainly help him visualize how to do any new parts.

He knows how to do our old parts.

Can I just download something from like Traceparts and then upload that to my project?

I'll give that a shot.

Yes you can download content from other websites like traceparts and then upload them into your Fusion project.

One good idea is to create a project that will hold standard parts like this.  Then when you need to use them in other projects they are all right there.  You can also share this project with others that might to use them.

That is a good idea. Start our own shared library. 🙂
