I save and then realize I wanted to name that version something other then "User Saved".  Is there a way to change that version name?

No, not as far as I know you cannot rename a past version.  You can however create a new version from it and rename it.

Sorry but what a joke... I just saved a version of a Google Sheets document and accidentally made a typo in the description. Went File > Version History > See version history > <my version> > Rename and was able to correct the typo. The latest version of the document in Google Sheets is always saved but a new version is only committed by the user when it's ready for prime time. See? That's how Fusion 360 should work, but no... Sorry, but it's pathetic that Fusion 360 doesn't let users save a working version locally and commit only meaningful versions, let alone rename existing versions. I don't even use Fusion 360 that much but, holy cow, the few times I've had to use this software have been hair-pullingly frustrating. To put the cherry on the cake, the user parameter list can't be sorted–ugh! These three seemingly small problems are actually huge and have been reported ad nauseam, but nothing is ever done. I just came here to vent because a good venting always leaves me feeling better, even if it changes nothing. I give up.
