Is there a way to make a marker in the timeline?

Is there a way to make a marker in the timeline, something more obvious than a normal event? I often design a part, save it as a variation, do more work, need to go back to the original.... and I'm not seeing a way to easily identify points in the timeline. A date marker or timestamp would be great. Is there a way?

Currently there is no way to do that. We've discussed "bookmarks" years ago, bit it has never been implemented.

You could just create an empty sketch and name it appropriately, but of course that sketch also shows up as an object in the browser.
