Hello all. I am relatively new to Fusion360, but I am a long time user of Autodesk applications dedicated to polygonal modeling - 3DSMax, Maya, Mudbox. I also have Autocad experience, and I am familiar with MOI. My field is entertainment design.
I am already convinced that Fusion will fit very well within my workflow (especially after writing a simple Autohotkey script enabling Maya-style viewport controls in fusion 🙂 ). It goes without saying that I have a long list of drafting and modeling questions I still need to research, but one UX element is bothering me and I could't find anything on the topic.
Simply put, I am basically looking for a way to disable pre-selection highlighting. Is there such an option ? I understand that this feature can be good to have especially for new users, but I personally find it to be visually distracting especially when interacting with a scene at high speed. Put differently : Since Fusion is actually pretty good at precise selections in the first place (I rarely end up not being able to select what I want), I tend to find preselection highlighting to be somewhat redundant.
Here is a short capture illustrating how things can get visually irritating, compared to the much more "relaxed" visual feedback offered by another program (I am using Blender as an example here, but IIRC both Max and Maya have the option to disable preselection highlighting as well) :

Thank you in advance for your suggestions or workarounds.
Also, on a somewhat related note : where is the best place to discuss the visual aspect of the program in general ? I find the UI to be very well laid out, but I am experiencing a fair number of minor visual issues that I would like to report and discuss (things like micro stutters, font weight inconsistency when selecting a component in the scene tree, and so on). Thanks !
