Hey guys

I was wondering if it's possible to scale this to 96"x36".  I can scale it to 96 but it won't let me do the width ununiform. If i pull it to a solid i know the wholes are going to oval out wen i scale it.  IF it can't be scaled i'll just model it. thanks. f3d below.

Not really. With some exceptions we generally do not scale things in CAD.

I think I would sketch the rectangle, extrude it,  and then pattern the holes and features in 3D.

Hi,

1. Turn on the design history > Browser >richgtclick > capture Design history

2. When scaling, all elements, including holes and sections, are scaled equally.

3. non uniform scaling is possible in SOLID > MODIFY but makes no sense!

4. Follow the recommendation of @Johnc911

I figured it couldn't be done but was worth a shot to ask it would of  saved a lot of time.  It's all good though. I'll just make it parametrically. This is just the base to a pretty elaborate design I'm thinking of. Thanks for the help and have a good day guys.👊

Scaling does not make sense but it can be re-sized. It's just a bit of work.

You got my attention. How can we resize a project like this?

Nothing in fusion makes any sense to me, I'm a 3d Modeler and fusion is an absolute nightmare due to its absurd limitation in modeling.

What software do you usually use for 3D modeling?
