After a lot of trials, re-installations, question to Autodesk etc. I'm still unable to get a view on a sample...

See screenshot , no part is visible , no grid or whatever is visible. What should I do?

Hi, yeah, that's weird all right. Sorry you are having these problems.

Can you post a screen shot of the browser expanded? Is there some way that everything is there, but invisible?

Also, if you create a new design, and add primitives, do you see anything?

Did you get any warnings about your graphics card when you invoked Fusion? What kind of computer are you using, and what are its graphics capabilities?

Finally (and I think this is a desperate shot in the dark, just try the "fit" command (bottom of the screen):

fit.png

just on the off chance that the stuff is there, but not in the view...

Thanks for your patience.

Jeff,

As You see in image Fusion3, the background is grey at start up. Loading an example doesn't change the background

Neither the  new body command changes a thing, neither the buttons at the bottom are clickable.

Hello,

Please open your preferences menu:

PreferenceMenus.jpg

When the preferences dialog comes up, please change your Graphics Driver from DirectX 11 to DirectX 9:

Preferences.jpg

Click OK and close and restart your application. You should now see all the graphics. If you have any further issues please let us know. Thank you for your patience.

I'll get it added to the Fusion Readme. Other than that, the Forum is a good place to go to and post your issues. We try to address them as quickly as possible. Thanks!

I am having a similar problem, I started out with the planes appearing and was able to draw a sketch, and extrude it, but as soon as I extruded it the part disappeared. I have downloaded and installed the latest driver for my graphics, changed the settings between 9 and 11, as well as attempted changing to reduce the resolution, and none are working, I just get the gray screen. However, if I move the mouse over where my part should be, the part appears, as a slightly lighter gray, as seen in the screenshots below, anybody have a suggestion how I can fix this, and be able to see my part without panning over it with the mouse? Thanks!

Graphics Driver up to date?

Your screenshot would seem to indicate not up to date.

File>Export and then Attach your *.f3d file here?

Yes, the driver is up to date. I downloaded and installed the latest driver as the first attempt to fix the issue, but I still get the banner at the top of the fusion screen. My hardware is not the greatest though, it is not the newest computer, running an integrated Intel graphics card. I will attempt to attach the f3d file.

Might be an up-to-date driver for your graphics card, but not up-to-date for current technology.

Unfortunately I think you will need to upgrade your computer and get a good gaming graphics card.

Would an ATI Radeon be an adequate upgrade? Says it is 256MB and 64-bit. Or would I need 128-bit or higher to run Fusion properly? Nevermind, I just found where it says minimum suggested is 512MB graphics card.
