Hi all
I am semi-retired and my hobby is building small model engines in my workshop. As I am away from home for some time I thought I would virtually build my current project in CAD. The only problem is that I have never used CAD in my life.
So, I installed Fusion 360 with a hobbyist licence. After one month I managed to get to this point in my virtual build (see first attachment). Not a lot but I am just a beginner. I was so happy to see all the linkages move in unison. I am sure that I came to this point not in the most efficient way.
Now to the question. I am now drawing the cylinders for this steam engine and would like to draw six holes around the face of the cylinder face with a particular PCD (see second attachment). I thought that I would be able to do this with the Circular Pattern in either Sketch or Create but I just can't get it to do exactly what I want. I spent a whole day playing around with the Circular Pattern with no success. I am sure there is an obvious way of doing it, but can see it.
I now have decided to sketch and move all the holes individually but still would love to know how to do it with Circular Pattern. Any help would be appreciated
Vince
