Instability of access to data panel and file management

Hi,

I'm now starting intense test to evaluate if Fusion 360 can replace our current 3D tools in our office.

I truly like Fusion 360 and I think that it has a great potential to be a tool that efectively replaces both our design and CAD tools, allowing us to work in a more integrated environment.

Nonetheless there's one aspect that I'm finding to be a very negative point of Fusion 360... the unstability of access to the data panel.

Basicaly what's happening is that almost everytime I try to access data panel, Fusion crashes.

I already cleaned the cache data several times and also performed a couple of clean uninstall and install and the unstability of the data panel remains.

I'm working on a brand new 5K iMac with 16Gb and a AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4096 MB graphics card.

Can you please give me some tips about how to solve this?

This issue is basically preventing me from recommending the adoption of Fusion 360 at my office.

Another questions that I'm facing is related with the cloud features of Fusion.

I understand the positive part of being able to store the files in a cloud for team collaboration but It's also crutial to be able to store the files in specific locations of my computer or in our company servers.

Is there a way to download the files to may computer?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

I am sorry you are having issues with Fusion 360.  It appears that Alex has answered your question about storing files on a local server.  Let us know if you have additional questions on that.

On your stability issues, I have looked at your CER's and need additional information. Can you send me (kris.berg@autodesk.com) your logs?  To obtain your logs go to the help menu (?) and select the "Diagnostic Log Files" command.  I will analyze them as soon as I receive them.

Thank you,

Kris Berg
