Inserting Canvas Issue

It's been a while since I last inserted an image using the Insert Canvas command, but for some reason, every time I do, the picture ends up skewed. For example, if a picture of a round object is inserted the round object appears oval shaped no matter what I try I can't get the object in the picture to be displayed round.

 

I'm not sure what's changed I've inserted images in the past without any problems.

Please attach the image you are trying to add as a Canvas.

Try using a format other than .jpg.

This is what's showing up in Fusion using the front face plane

The picture I'm trying to add to canvas is a jpg. Warmingup1953 mentioned maybe trying another format.

That worked! So Fusion doesn't like jpg?

Hi,

Open the JPEG file in an image editing program > save it without editing it first > paste it into Fusion.

Yes, it appears there is a Bug where Fusion can have issues with some jpgs...I believe it is on the list of Bugs to SWAT!

Hi! I am not able to reproduce the behavior by the image saving as a png file. Please share the original jpg file. I would like to understand the behavior better.
