Input of points along a spline

I have a computer generated array for points along a 2D curve and would like to input the exact points - I don't see any way other than moving the curser along the grid and clicking (very difficult to get exact values). I'm used to an old version of Mechanical Desktop where you type "pline" on the command line, then input the points (or arcs) one at a time.

The Add-ins script, ImportSplineCSV, will probably do what you want. After importing the CSV, you'll be able to place points, arcs, or other geometry at the spline points.
