I have modeled this mechanism consisting of a ratchet to use it for creating an object capable of rotating in one direction while being able to lock into certain fixed positions. The mechanism works, but for its proper use, I would like to ensure that a greater force is required to disengage it from its fixed position (see Video 6758). Additionally, I would like that when I cease applying force, the ratchet inside returns to its closest position with greater acceleration/force, preventing it from occasionally being stuck between two positions (see Video 6759). Every black piece is printed in ASA. Should I print the inner ratchet in another material, or should I make changes to the model?
