Importing Text With AutoCAD LT to Fusion 360

So I last complained about this 2 years ago - here is the post

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-api-and-scripts/dxf-import-add-in-text-not-importing/m-p/9...

What's changed since then is - now I've updated to AutoCAD LT 2021 and unfortunately the WMFOUT and WMFIN no longer converts the text to polyline when importing the WMF file.  Instead after importing the file and exploding the block - the text reverts back to exactly what it was - text.  So that command is not a viable workaround option.

My question is this - are us LT users just completely out of luck?  Is this some sort of marketing ploy for us to upgrade to the full version of AutoCAD for 1 button?? Is there anyone out there who has come up with any sort of work around - WITHOUT the need for a 3rd party program.  Yes I can import the DXF/DWG to AlphaCAM and bounce it out in 2 minutes, but if that's the case then why not program the part in AlphaCAM in 2 minutes too, that makes Fusion kind of obsolete (Autodesk employees read that twice). I also can import the DXF to Inkscape, trace the text and bounce it out of the program (total waste of time)

I've patiently waited for years for them to fix something that you can literally do in a free open source or $100 CAM program. So I am starting to believe that it really is a marketing ploy for people like me to upgrade to a version of AutoCAD I literally have no other use for.  SO, if anyone out there has any workarounds or tricks they can enlighten me besides the ones I have already mentioned, that would be greatly appreciated.

If you give a more specific example, you will get a reply.

It would be good to paste a sample of the shapes you would like to convert, or a file.

Also, if you are having trouble with file conversion or format, there may be room to consider output in other file formats.

Sure - here's an AutoCAD LT file with some text I'd like to import to Fusion.  Show me how you'd import the file along with the text without an explode text tool into Fusion 360 - and again I'm using 2021 LT and the WMFIN no longer imports the text into vectors.

Hi,

1. in QCAD you can convert the text into paths
2. simply create the text in Fusion.

Note: If LT does not contain an Explode option, this post should be moved to the LT forum.

Well technically I would say the issue is 50/50 Fusion/LT, but I do agree this post should be moved to LT forum, can anyone out there help me out with that?
