Importing Files From Thingiverse

Hi, I'm trying to import a thingiverse .stl file in to Fusion to modify so i can 3D print it. But for some reason when I import it it scales 500+% to over 30 inches long. How can I import this file to edit without the scaling to get the 3D print I'm looking for? I know that the size of the object isn't that large because I have opened it in Cura and it fits on my build plate, obviously if it was scaled like in Fusion it wouldn't fit on my build plate. Thanks for the help!

You are probably importing with the wrong units.  when using "insert mesh" from the insert tab you have the opportunity to select the units used to save the original file.  that information is often in the description on thingverse, but if not your'll have to use trial and error to figure it out. It will normally be millimeters, centimeters, or inches, in that order.

It is probably the fact that Fusion 360 is uploading the file in centimeters and your file is in some other units such as inches.  I just did one where the author labeled it was in millimeters and it came in 10 times larger in centimeters.  I just use the Scale command with a Uniform setting, windowed the whole part and scaled it down by .1  of the original size.
