Importing CSV Parameter file but names get changed - any workaround?

I have a basic sketch that I use for lots of similar models and almost all of the dimensional information I have stored in parameters. I have exported a copy of this CSV file and my plan was to change the values outside of Fusion and then import the CSV file with the new values for each parameter. Except on import, because the parameters already exist, they are renamed as part of the import meaning instead of having new values and my sketch updating, I just have a bunch of new parameters with new names and values that don't get used.

Am I missing something obvious? I can't see how this behaviour makes the import/export of parameters usable? The documentation even suggests initially downloading your parameters as a CSV file to use as a template.

Hopefully I'm just missing some setting somewhere that defines this behaviour?

Thanks

Can you please share the CSV file and the model you are trying to Import the file into?

If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

I've attached the model, the csv file and a screenshot of the dialogue that appears when importing. You can see the message describing the parameter name change.

I assume from the lack of responses that the behaviour that I'm experiencing is expected?
