Importing AutoCAD Dimension Styles

Generally, we do our 2D drawings before doing any 3D models if we decide to produce them eg for 3D printing parts but I would like to do it the other way around particularly when I find time to sort out our 2D drawing frame on Fusion 360. Therefore I would like the style of our 2D drawings to look the same as if they were produced on AutoCAD so I was wondering if it was possible to import dimension styles as used in AutoCAD into Fusion 360?

Hi @s.mckenzie.fugro

It's not possible to import AutoCAD dimension styles into Fusion.

But we have just made object properties available, which allows for some customisation of dimensions. I'd love to hear from you directly, and learn a bit more about what changes to the standard dimensioning styles you would like to make.

If you're up for it, here is a link to my calendar, please book a 30-minute session with me, and we can chat on Zoom.

Or if a good old-fashioned email is more your style, feel free to ping me Clint. Brown {a} Autodesk.com
