I've hunted around in the forums and in online guides, but don't think they explain how to or whether it is possible to do the following (Please note this could be because I didn't necessarily fully understand).
I have used a drone to video a potential customer's site, from this video I have used poly.cam to produce a 3D model of the locale:
This model can be exported from poly.cam in a number of formats:
These are the formats that it believes are applicable to fusion:
I have attached the raw .fbx file and th .zip of the .obj file below.
When I import these into fusion they successfully import together with the texture/appearance in the viewport window, however, they do not render.
I have tried creating a new material appearance with the obj's image file which is visible in the render space, but this does not correctly apply to the model. (I followed this tutorial / guidance https://www.aclockworkberry.com/import-and-render-meshes-in-fusion-360/) [EDIT: I believe that this fails to work because there is no normal map available :EDIT]
I have attached the .fbx import fusion archive file but cannot attach the .obj import file as I can only attach three, I can attach that to a response if someone feels that it is helpful.
I have a fully modelled site that I want to render together with the locale, preferably I would like to do this in fusion as I am familiar with the rendering tools.
I would be very grateful for anyone's advice on how I might correctly apply the appearance to the mesh for rendering or, if that is not possible, how best to export the site model from fusion into blender whilst retaining the appearance of the fusion model.
