Import STL file and how to generate a drawing

Hi,

I've imported a STL file and I've converted it.

 How do I now show the dimensions as i need to re-scale it?

Do you really need a drawing?

Maybe a simple 2d dimensioned sketch rectangle will give you the information you need.

It's a drive wheel for a 7 1/4 model engine. The original size is 1/15th and I need it to be 1/8. So ive imported it but there is no dimensions on it.

being a newby I'm not sure how to get the dimensions to show for the original size and to change it to the correct dimensions.

it needs to be correct to machine it

so looking at lots of videos!
