Image to sketch, then change perspective?

I have an image that I want to make convert to 3d.  After putting it on a canvas, I drew the lines around the basic shape.  I want to convert the "plane" of the shape now to a perspective as if looking top down onto it versus looking at the angle as the photo was taken.  How can you take the outline as drawn and convert that to the real shape that would be approximately 12" x 12". Certainly I could start from scratch and create the shapes on a flat plane, but maybe someone knows some tricks to adapt an angled view to a usable top view.   Thanks for any tips.  Ashtray.jpg

Can you share the image you are using as a Canvas?

What you are asking for is not possible in Fusion.

The image alone does not provide enough info either. You’d have to know the location of the camera in relation to the object and the focal length the image was taken with.

Thanks. i think one option is to draw the object on a flat plane as if drawing from scratch, define the outline first.  Then rotate the sketch to make it line up with the photo perspective then I can compare and adjust the sketch against the image but the sketch will be the real shape but when rotated it takes on the perspective of the camera angle.  Then I can adjust the sketch on the flat plane as needed, rotate to overlay the image and compare.
