I wouldn't say this is a good idea. Beside the missing gfx card, your machine of choice comes with a variate of CPUs. Down to a Pentium processor.

Check the minimum hardware requirements

But it still doesn't match the minimum hardware requirements. Have you checked the link? It looks like Fusion 360 requires a gfx card with dedicated memory. Fusion 360 pushes a lot of work to one core, some work it distributes to all cores but it still has to visualize the data.

You should not have any problem running Fusion 360 on that machine.

That really depends on what you want to do. I'm a hobbyist. I'm 3d printing more or less everything I'm designing. RC, tools, smart helpers ... things like that. I'm fine with my old Lenovo T520 from 2011.

If I compare the CPUs the 8550u is a bit faster but I'm not sure how this comes into play with Fusion. Your base clock speed is a bit slower, the turbo speed is a bit faster. Now it depends how Fusion 360 works with this.

If I compare the gfx cards your card is again slightly faster. Edit: This time the difference is bigger.
