How to trim an intersection curve ?

Hi,

In the attached file, I want to trim the intersection curve in the profile2, to keep only the central part.

So, my profile2 will be complete, with a similar shape of the profile1, and I will be able to create a loft, with the path1.

But, I don't see how I can trim this curve.

Tx a lot for your help and advices.

Do you mean trimming projected (purple) lines? AFAIK, you can't do that. Of course you can break the link (in the context menu) and then trim, but you will lose any connection between original geometry and those lines.

I guess the model has been changed since yesterday, but isn't breaking the link always potentially risky?

Why not create another line at the point you want to trim to so the profile stops there?
