How to thin extrude around a shape

I created a sketch of a 7 segment LED display, and I am trying to extrude around the segments.

If I select the outline of the segments then some extruded parts are on the "outside" of the segment and others are "inside". Since I only care about the exact shape of the inside (as this is where the LEDs will be) I want all extruded faces to be outside.

But I don't know if or how I can tell Fusion 360 this. It has options for "Side 1" or "Side 2" but as you can see that differs for each individual line profile that I can select.

I could easily do this as multiple extrude operations and joining the bodies together, but I was wondering if this is the best way to do it.

Could be the way the lines were drawn, top down or bottom up.  Fusion is like that.

You may have to manually sort the side control in multiples.

I already had the individual bodies, that can be used in a Modify > Combine > Cut if you had a background.

Frame around my sketch 3, makes the background with cut holes in one step.

Might help...

Yeah that's what I assumed. I was able to achieve what I wanted by doing two separate extrudes where the second one joins the body created by the first.

Use the "Center" option and consider that in your sketch:

Why not edit your base sketch with offsets etc to create an extrudable closed profile?

Because I don't know exactly how thick I need the walls to be and I had a hard enough time just getting the sketch done.

Please File -> Export your design in .f3d format and attach it to this reply.

You are trying to accomplish too much with one sketch.
