How to sweep a path that intersects itself?

I need this profile to sweep around the guide rail. 
Capture.PNGI'm trying to get this shape, without seam marks as this object will have high detail. What are the options of making the shape below without seams. Without using sculpt tool as this requires precise dimensions.

Assuming that is just a single Body, then they aren't "seams." They are just tangent lines or corners.

The reason I call them seams, is because when I render, there are visible seam lines that don't create a smooth flow.

Both when I use a fillet to round the corners, and when I sweep/cut the corners.
