how to stop auto save after each simulation?

Go to the profile name in fusion 360 at the top right corner and click on it.

click on the preferences and then deselect the automatic save on close option. apply the settings and then click OK.

I don't have auto save on close enabled, and this isn't the issue i'm facing.

My issue is with auto save after simulation. which saves a new version after each simulation run.
