Do you mean something like slice the sketch, like cut it at a certain spot? if so:
why can't you just add a line at the point you want to cut sketch 2 at and then use the trim tool to get rid of the other side you don't want?
If I'm misunderstanding what your trying to do please don't hesitate to correct me.

Kind regards
Ricky

Hi,

You cannot split a sketch without editing that sketch which is bad workflow. Once you create a sketch you should

leave it so that you can follow things later more easily. Sketches should always be simple and only try to do one or

maybe two things, they are used for creating and modifying your Model.

What you can do is create a new sketch and then Project portions of another sketch into the new one. This is

especially useful if you are using the Design in Place method where you might want the outline of an existing

component or a centre point that you then use to design the next component.

To use the Project tool press P when in the sketch. The sketch you want to project into the new sketch must be

visible.

Projected geometry will be purple as you can see in my model above. Projected geometry is also used in the new

sketch to define the rest of your sketch. A projected point is treated like an origin in the new sketch and you can

dimemsion the new sketch in relation to the projected points.

Cheers

Andrew

Thanks drewpan and Safwan,

I knew the project,.

I know it doesn't exist, but what I wanted to do is reproduce the concept made with Rhino - Rhinoceros 3D in jewelry like this video  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eRgqY6GrqI from 1:50 to 3:08.

i'm interssted not only in manufacturing but also in product design like jewellery.

Watched half of that video,

In Fusion you are better off drawing the 4 curves separately in 2 (2d) sketches.

If you want the layer bodies, you would make them first, and then use the loft as Intersect to cut them to shape.

Might help....

Hi! Maybe you can extrude the two sketch loops as two separate surface bodies. Next, split one surface using the other as a tool. Then you can create a sketch and project the split edges.

Many thanks!
