Hi Diego,

Fusion 360 Simulation does not do fluid or thermal flow analysis (CFD).  Can you tell me a bit more about the problem you are trying to solve?  Depending on what you are trying to accomplish, we do have CFD analysis tools at Autodesk that may suit your needs.

Hello Diego,

I saw this post and I was wondering if there have been any changes to Fusion regarding fluid dynamic analysis. I am working on designing a bottle with a pour spout and wanted to simulate the flow of the liquid through the spout.

Best,

Nick

Hey @Anonymous - unfortunately still no near term plans to integrate CFD into Fusion 360.  Your closest option from Autodesk is:  http://www.autodesk.com/products/cfd/overview

Thank You! I will look into that program, but it sounds like exactly what I need.

I have one other question. If I start an extrude command in Fusion 360, I can pull the extrusion using the control arrows, but if I rotate the part I can no longer pull the arrows, the rotate command stays active and continues to rotate the part. Is there a way to stop the rotation command and get back to using the arrows to pull the extrusion?

I have tried everything I can think of to find an autodesk CFD version for Mac. Can anyone provide directions (if it exists).  Many thanks

If you use the orbit to rotate you first must end the orbit command.

Hello @Anonymous

Thanks for using Autodesk Forums for solving your Problem.

CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) Analysis is not present in the Fusion 360.

For Solving CFD Analysis  you can use Autodesk CFD & Autodesk Flow Design.
