How to reset the origin to where I want it.

Hi.  I am making solid bodies from meshes that come from CT scanners.  I need to reset the origin to the location of my model.  In most cases, the scanner puts the origin a long way from the center of mass, making it near impossible to line things up with other components in an assembly.  Any help is appreciated.  See the screen shot.  The model I'm working with is that small black speck in the distance.

hi @sohnrog,

You cannot "reset the origin".  You can, however, move the model to the origin.  See this screencast:

It should achieve the same result, I think.
