How to project a body onto a sketch?

Caveats:

1) I may be asking the wrong question, but I'll explain below

2) I have looked at numerous examples of using the project to surface function but can't understand exactly how to do it here

Basically this could also be asked:

"I have a sketch on one plane (A), and the face of a body on another parallel plane (B). How do I snap a rectangle on plane (A) to the corners of the face of the body on plane (B)"?

More info:

I have a box within a box. The inner box (shown in grey) is the reference model for a power supply and the outer box (shown in ghost) is the enclosure I'm designing. I would like to add a vertical divider inside this enclosure, to separate the power supply from the other components that will go adjacent to it.

Therefore I want to sketch a rectangle on the TOP face of my outer box (to be clear, I mean the top face of the baseplate, which is at the bottom, of my enclosure) using the inner box as my reference.

Currently the reference model floats above 1mm above that surface.

How can I project the edge of that power supply onto the sketch?

Start sketch on top face of enclosure.

P for Project and select top of power supply.

Now let me open the file and see if I guessed correctly...

Ugh, that was far too easy. I was editing the sketch of the power supply base and pressing P to try to project it onto the enclosure that way... just needed to swap that around.

Thanks
