How to move vertex on other plane

Hi,

I'm new to Fusion 360.

I drew a rectangle (2D) on the front plane, now I need to move a vertex to the right plane or another plane. The problem is that when I try to move it, The rectangle is no longer closed. How can I move the vertex to another plane? I also tried projecting the vertex, but the problem is the same.

Thank you very much.

If I understand correctly, you are trying to turn a 2D sketch into a 3D sketch.
In a 3D sketch, profiles are not closed.

Can you show what you want to achieve in the end?

No, I'm on 2D view (Edit Sketch) with a simple rectangle

The rectangle is closed. If I selecting a vertex, switch to another plane (for example right), move the vertex of 5mm long Y, than I return to Front plane and the rectangle is opened.

How to move correctly the vertex to another plane?

Thanks

In a 2D sketch, all points must exist on the same plane if you expect the sketch to remain closed and create a profile.  This means that what you are attempting is not possible.  What is you intent, what do you need to accomplish?
