How to move an object on a curved path (Train on Track Constraint)

For a project I am currently working on I need to create a joint that allows me to move an object along a custom path. I would use a slider joint but the track is curved and I need the train to rotate with the path. Can I make a contact set with a slider joint? I previously made a planar joint with contact sets and the object kept "popping" off the track? Please help this is for a school project.

Nope. This is one of the Joint types that needs to be implemented in F360, but although we've been asking for it for like a billion years, hasn't been.

Planar Joints in combination with Contact Sets is your only hope, but as you've discovered, Contact Sets is buggy in F360.

You can do this in Autodesk Inventor Professional.

Students can get free 3-yr license of Inventor from http://www.autodesk.com/edcommunity
