DXF scale issue

So I am looking for step by step help. I have some DXF files I saved from a customer on my desktop. when I open blank widow in fusion and import using the drop down tab I select the plane and the file and bam it appears on my screen. My issue is when I measure the drawing on screen they are wayyyyyyy bigger then what they are supposed to me. how can this problem be over come. please help !!!!!!

Doesn’t happen to me.  Both programs I use are metric.

First step is to set the Fusion units to be the same as the file, before you import.

If that is not the cause of the problem, Scale the sketch to correct size.

Usually this would be because the units in the program that created the DXF and the units in Fusion are different. I have this issue frequently in DXF's coming from PCB layout programs, for instance. If you know what a dimension should be, and compare it to what actually imported, that can give you a clue as to the problem. If the DXF is not too complex, scaling the sketch could get it to the right size.

What is the difference, 2.54 times bigger 25.4? On the import dialog there's an option to pick the units for the imported file, have you tried any other units?

There is a myth that DWG\DXF files are unitless but this is not the case, if the insunits are set Fusion will read it and scale to match your design units. What program produced the files?
