HOW TO MAKE RADIAL SHELL ?

Hi,

When using the shell command, the shell thikness is created perpendicular to surfaces ...

For a very specific project, I need it to be radial to a vertical axis or, ideally, perpendicular to perimeters in horizontals planes.

Has anybody a way to do this ?

Because I give everyone the benefit of the doubt and assume they're smarter than I am. Like I said, I don't KNOW nobody would ask that question. I presumed it because I give people the benefit of the doubt.

If the OP chimes in and says, "Oh my gosh, you're right, mine was a ridiculous question, like asking if anyone can help me figure out how to make water flow uphill against gravity," then of course I will be proven wrong in my presumption. I'm fine with that possibility.

But it isn't ridiculous for me to presume that if he expects a single-direction offset to work, but thinks the complexity of his shape is the problem, he likely means something by the word "complexity" other than "the wall shape turns parallel to the direction I want to thicken it." It COULD be an incorrect presumption, but isn't a ridiculous one for me to make.
