Hello, so im making a case for a rocket part and I put M48x3 threads on the bigger and smaller parts and when I print the parts is doesn't fit and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks for the help!

It's quite hard to get 3d printers to hold tight tolerances on threads. It may take a few iterations to get the parts to mate properly. I'd make practice pieces of just the threads until you get the settings dialed in.
You can also slice (hacksaw not software 🙂 ) the parts in half to see where you need to make adjustments. Printing (paper not 3d) a side view of the desired threads can also help find the problem when compared to the hacksawn parts.

I found scaling smaller threads with a Non Uniform scale works quite well for 3d printed threads. For a bigger thread like yours you might want to start at 0.5% (1.005). After scaling you might need to resize the th outside diameter.
