The part will be inserted into the active component, I'd guess you had the Mount Through Bolt component active when you inserted the Tower Mount Bolt so it became a sub component. You might be able to drag the inserted component to the root component as long as you've not referenced it already in the design.

Hi, I want to create new like Mount thru Bolt like, the pic is just a sample.

How do I get a new like that ?

Accepted solution

If you want to maintain the link to the external design you can't do what you're after. If you don't mind breaking the link just import into the root component right click the linked component and select break link, then you can rename. What you need to remember is you can only import a component, you can't import a body.
