How to insert a zip 3D model

I need to make a sock on fusion 360 but it is turning out to be impossible to make it. However, there are other 3D models of socks that I can download but they’re zip files or other files that cannot be opened on fusion 360. Is there a way to open it or convert the file?

Unzip the file.

If running on a Window OS, simply right click on the *.zip file and select Extract All.

You should now have a folder with a usable geometry file.

Someone will be along shortly and explain what to do if running on a Mac OS.
