How to fill the gap between blue and yellow part?

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for the link! I don't see a yellow part, though, only white parts. It looks like the blue part is named "Body2" - what's the name of the second part you're trying to fill the gap between?

Oh I think I messed up with the link somehow.

I cannot actually see anything in my link at all, but I believe it's a wrong version... I've been working on it meanwhile... Does that link in the first post update when I save a new version of the project? Sorry I'm very new to this.

See the attached images.

Hi,

Could you please provide a more clear picture, and please show exactly where the gap is

And about the model, go to File > export > .f3d and attach it to your next post

I'm sorry, let's try this yet again.

Here the gap is marked with a red triangle. I want to extend the blue part to the left, so it will close the gap. Notice the yellow part is going to be hollow, so just extruding the blue part a lot and join will not work... Also I would prefer not to join the parts at all for future reasons.

If the objects are the same body in the F3D file, just scroll back two items in history.

I already commented on the other thread with the same model. Trust me, you don't want to "fill a gap". You want to start this from scratch the right way.

Thank you. I was actually working on the project and this question is not relevant anymore but it might be in the future.

I'm not at my computer right now, but after a good nights sleep I think I can answer myself. Extrude the blue thing as a new body, then use split body with the corresponding "odd shaped face" as a tool. Remove the unneeded body. Right?
