How to fill a MeshBody (previously mesh)

Hi,

I converted successfully a mesh to a solid body... the problem is that the body is hollow... how can obtain a REAL solid body? (I followed this guide with the face group way)

I attached the original STL file too.

Thank you in advance

What conversion method (Fast or Accurate) did you use with what setting ?
Did you evaluate the model after face group assignment to see if the correct triangles were assigned to the correct face groups?

I used the "accurate" method with default settings and then had to manually reassign triangles to separate face groups and combing them with the proper face group using direct editing.

While this should have converted completely, it still did not work entirely and I had to loft and stitch the missing faces.

@TrippyLighting
In the end I solved using the "Stitch" function in "Surface" tab with a tolerance of 0.2mm and it became a solid body

That is a V.E.R.Y bad idea for obvious reasons. Fusion's stitch tolerance in the 0.1 mm default already is open like a huge barn door.

I often set it to 0.01mm and sometimes even 0.001 mm (the default in Autodesk Alias, for example).
