Hi O.Tan,

try to delete everything in HTML tab, paste again code you've copied in Screencast page, click Preview tab to see whether it is ok, if yes, go to back to Rich Text tab and add other text if needed...

I just did a quick test and edited the reply to take out the screencast. It worked when I tried it. (I'm not sure if you wanted it posted or not. )

Two suggestions:

  1. Try clearing your browser's cache from the beginning of time and then re-posting. I know we are working on some issues with the forum in regards to this.
  2. Make sure you are not accidentally pasting the iframe code in between some existing carrots <> on the HTML tab.

Hope that helps, let me know either way!

Thanks,

I also wanted to point out that we have a Screencast Forum if you need additional troubleshooting assistance and/or would like to speak directly with the development team.

My apologies for the inconvenience. After further research this appears to be a site permissions issue which for certain users is preventing the use of the HTML code that is coming from Screencast. I'm working with the appropriate parties on potential solutions, but for the time being would recommend simply linking to the Screencast in your posts.

I have noticed a couple of times people are on the text tab instead of the HTML tab. This will make a world of difference on how things behave for you.

IMO

I dont think everyone is that bad 😛

Plus posting it on the TEXT tab would make it just appear as text like below.. and not post an error..

Not sure why it appears to be a problem for non-autodesk employees to embed a screencast. It seems quite a few users is having the problem. 😞

Hi Nathan,

it seems that the problem isn't fixed yet. I tried several ways, inserting the screen cast by link and by html with no success.

Can you help?

Thank You

This would be a nice feature. Shame it still doesn't work. 😞
