How to edit components made with circular pattern separately?

I created 3 components with circular pattern.I want to edit them separately.Seems like if update one of them the other two will follow.How can I cut connections between them, how can I edit them separately?

You'll need to use Copy/Paste New to create an unlinked copy.  Edits of the new copy won't affect the original or other clones.  If you need to make a global change in all of clones, move the timeline to before the Copy/Paste New operation.

I think you are correct though I still think if there is an option on whether editing pattern-made components separately or globally would be more convenient.

@etfrench You've made the statement above several times but components made with Paste New have no link to their parent component after the paste new not even after rolling the timeline back or have I missed something!

 

Here's a screencast that shows the difference between copy\paste new and copying a body into a new component.

@mearisori Patterning the body then converting to component s might work for you. The only drawback is creating a BOM in a 2d drawing will list each new component rather than a count of the original.

 

Here's an example using pattern on path.
