first post so I hope this is the right place. I'd like to draw a flower inspired sketch similar to the ones shown below:
Could anyone point me in the right direction in terms of how to go about it in the simplest way? I'd think you could draw one "petal" and then rotate that feature symmetrically? Or ideally import an image with the desired shape and trace it as a sketch? Wouldn't really know how to do it though so any help is appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Here's an example. I create one petal using splines then extrude and pattern. Note while adding symmetry to the handles of the splines you need to edit them first or you can't select them to add the constraint. Also if you edit the number of petals you need to edit the extrude to force an update of the join.
