How to distribute an even pattern symmetrically in a sketch?

Hi there,

I have a rectangular box I want to slot. First I thought about symmetrically slotting from the middle, but due to other components I can't put the initial slot in the middle of that plane.
So how can I extend the slot pattern, that the last slot has the exact same distance from the edge as the initial one?
The only way for me right now would be to exactly calculate the extent spacing.

Thanks for the attention 🙂

Hi,

You must calculate the edge distance for the first slot in the parameter list.

1. create only one slot in your sketch and pattern its cutout

2. Please share the file for reply

File > export > save as f3d on local drive > attach to post

now that we can use driven dims in expressions this type of thing is much simpler than it use to be.  see attached.
